The average homeland security salaries were uniformly higher in Providence than in Rhode Island as a whole. Transportation security screeners in the city averaged $41,810 with the top earners making $50,170. The supervisors of protective service workers in Portland averaged $56,930 a year.
The average Portland salary for information security analysts was $94,990 with the top earners making 67% more on average. Such computer specialists in Norwich made $104,410 on average with the top earners garnering 34% higher wages.
