Information security analysts earned more than the median state salary when they were located in Salt Lake City. The median salary in the city was $79,970 while the top earners were paid an average of $128,000 in 2012.
The supervisors of protective service workers in Ogden and Provo received higher salaries than average for the state in 2012. Top earners in these two cities averaged $82,360 and $80,430, respectively.
